Job Description: The Remote Missionary Assistant will assist in the day-to-day administrative functions of our missionary work. This remote position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive individual. The successful candidate will help manage documents, communications, and scheduling, providing support to missionaries and staff. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently and as part of a virtual team, has excellent organizational skills, and is passionate about supporting missionary efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support to the missionary team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and setting reminders.
Assist with the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
Manage email communication, responding to inquiries, and forwarding messages to relevant team members.
Maintain and organize both digital and physical filing systems for missionary projects, reports, and correspondence.
Assist in the coordination of virtual meetings and webinars, including setting up meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
Help process donations, maintain donor records, and send acknowledgment letters or receipts.
Assist in organizing missionary outreach events, fundraisers, and community activities (virtually or locally).
Research and compile information for upcoming mission trips, projects, or initiatives.
Help maintain and update the organization’s website, social media accounts, or other communication platforms.
Provide any other clerical assistance as requested by the Missionary Team Leader.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, ideally in a non-profit or mission-driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with office software (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, or equivalent).
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with social media platforms, website management, and basic graphic design tools (preferred but not required).
Passion for the organization’s mission and a heart for serving others.
Prior experience supporting missionary or faith-based organizations is a plus.

Remote work from any location.
Occasional communication with international teams and time zone adjustments may be required.
Training and orientation will be provided.
