Position Overview
The Kid’s Ministry Director is responsible for overseeing and implementing a vibrant, Bible-based ministry for children from preschool through elementary ages. This part-time position (13 hours/week) plays a crucial role in nurturing the spiritual development of children while equipping parents and volunteers to disciple the next generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, and develop a team of preschool and elementary volunteers
• Create and manage volunteer schedules
• Attend Monday office hours and actively participate in staff meetings
• Teach children Bible-based curriculum during Sunday services
• Prepare all necessary materials for children’s programming
• Plan and organize special Kid’s Ministry events throughout the year
• Equip parents with resources and strategies for at-home discipleship
• Train and empower children to serve as active members of the church family

Schedule 

• Monday: Office hours and staff meetings
• Sunday: Morning services
• Additional hours as needed for special events

Qualifications

• Strong personal faith and commitment to Christ
• Passion for children’s spiritual growth and development
• Experience in children’s ministry or education preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities
