Pastor

The Pulpit Committee of St. Paul Baptist Church, Pittsburgh PA is accepting applications for the position of Pastor. St. Paul Baptist Church has been in existence for 122 years and within that time we have had only 5 pastors. We are known as a God fearing and loving congregation. We seek an ordained minister with vision, spiritual leadership and possesses the qualities found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

The Pastor of the St. Paul Baptist Church is an ordained minister who is called to live a Godly life and who will carry out the mission of the Christian church as stated in Matthew 28:19. The Pastor will provide spiritual leadership to members of the church in the areas of preaching, teaching, worship and prayer. The Pastor interprets biblical scripture for the congregation and will support the Church By-Laws that establish procedures and brings order in doing God’s work.
