Worship Piano/Keyboard Player

New Beginnings Christian Church (NBCC) is excited to announce our search for musicians to join our band. We seek dedicated and skilled musicians who can assist in advancing the work of the Lord. Additionally, we are searching for those who are upbeat, loyal, resourceful, and are committed to fulfilling our mission.

NBCC’s mission is to build a relationship with God through principled, practical Bible teaching and powerful prayer, praise, and worship. We believe in strengthening our fellowship with others by creating a caring, loving, family-oriented environment that welcomes everyone and leaves out no one.

This is a paid-position at the New Beginnings Christian Church Manassas, VA location. Members of the band will work under the direct supervision and authority of the Senior Pastor and Director of Music and Arts in helping to develop the music ministry of the church. Members of the band will work closely with the Praise Team and Audio/Visual (A/V) Team and provide support to the Director of the Music and Arts Ministry for worship services, special productions, and events.

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Attend band and praise team rehearsals (once a week for approximately 2 hrs)
Attend Sunday morning run-through rehearsals and service (8am – 11am)
Attend weekly bible studies and prayer meetings
Play and assist for all special events including setup and breakdown of equipment

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a heart to worship
Must have 2+ years experience
Able to play by ear
Live no more than an hour from church location
Does not play for other services on Sundays
Must commit to NBCC statement of faith and mission
Must commit to growing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Proficiently play the keyboard with a mastery of keys

Schedule: One week night per week, Sunday Mornings, Special Events

*Experience: 5 years (Preferred)
